SPF's Copra Cutters are used to cut the copra into small pieces,before same is sieved in preparation to the breaking mill or to feed the same to Oil Expeller for crushing. The cutting of Copra is done by a number of beaters. The beaters are mounted on shaft supported by two self-aligning ball bearings. The shaft has at one end a flat or 'V' Pulley. The cut pieces flall through the perforated plate sieve. The beaters are made from alloy steel case-hardened to give long life. The Copra cutter is fabricated out of mild steel, angles and plates and is simple in construction and easy to handle. The working is very simple and beater replacement require minimum skill. The can also be used to disintegrate or cut any other material like Oil cake etc.
